The lawyers for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl want the government to turn over his enlistment file, correspondence related to the extension of his service and other key pieces of evidence they believe are favorable and relevant to their defense.
The requests are part of three motions filed last week by Bergdahl's lawyers, Eugene R. Fidell and Lt. Col. Franklin Rosenblatt.
Col. Jeffery Nance, the military judge overseeing Bergdahl's court-martial, is expected to address the motions in court today.
