Airmen with Pope Field's Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron got their first glimpse Monday of a bubble-like room designed to move people exposed to infectious diseases.
About 20 airmen will learn to use the Department of Defense's new Transport Isolation System during in-flight training over Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, this week. The airmen will learn how to properly put on and take off personal protective gear and work in the isolated module all while the aircraft is moving.
